Peter Aim
Peter brings a wealth of experience to both the area of principalship and teaching. He has been a principal for over 13 years and been a classroom teacher for over 15 years. An enthusiastic practitioner, Peter enjoys the challenge that education provides in the 21st. Century.
He believes in schools having effective pedagogy where teachers create a supportive learning environment, encourage reflective thought and action, enhance new learning, facilitate shared learning, make connections to prior learning, provide sufficient opportunities to learn and use reflection to judge their impact on learning.
Schools also need to be challenging and exciting places where students are valued and encouraged to enhance their learning in a broad, rich curriculum.
