After School Care: The Hen House

After School Care is provided by The Hen House. The Hen House is an OSCAR-approved (www.oscarfoundation.co.nz) programme that is run by members of the Matangi School community.

The Hen House provides a healthy afternoon tea daily, and a variety of fun activities related to the school curriculum are available for the children to be involved in.

There is a homework club for the children, and they recieve a reward if homework is completed daily.

Hours: 2.55pm-5.30pm

Rates: $6.00 for the first hour, $3.00 for every half hour following.

WINZ subsidies may be available to those who qualify.
