COVID-19 Update

Kia ora Matangi whānau,

This afternoon’s update from the Prime Minister indicated that we will be at COVID Alert Level 4 until at least 11:59pm on Tuesday 24 August. It is clear that with the continued identified cases, staying at home in our bubbles is the safest thing we can do at this time.

Our Matangi teaching team have begun to prepare an online learning option for our children. We want to ensure that you all have access to ongoing learning and are ready to begin this come Monday next week.

With this in mind, we are in the process of making plans for the sharing of school devices (Chrome Books or iPads) with our Matangi School students. If you know that your child will need access to a Matangi School device in order to engage in online learning, we will be sending out a Google form tomorrow morning for you to complete – this will be sent to you via email.

Please note that on Monday the 23rd of August, from 9:00am -12:00pm, you will be able to pick up the requested device from the school. It is really important that the Google form is completed, prior to you coming. You will be able to complete the form up until 8pm Sunday 22nd of August.
