COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 Community Update

Thursday 26 August 2021

Kia Ora Koutou Katoa – Hello to you all,

I hope that you are all keeping well and are coping in your bubbles. We have been lucky with our weather; it has allowed for many opportunities to get outside and enjoy what the outdoors has to offer.

Our online learning is now well underway and it is great to see all of your responses coming through; either via our Seesaw platform or in your Goggle Classrooms. Our teachers are doing a great job at engaging with you on a regular basis and setting up fun learning activities for you to work on – mahi nui koutou!

Today’s update includes some postponements of upcoming events: We will postpone our School Cross Country that was scheduled for Friday the 27th of August, and will explore our options over the next few weeks. We have postponed our visitor of the Olympic Ambassador: Brooke Neal. We have also postponed our St John’s visits (that were scheduled for Rimu and Kahikatea Teams). Please keep looking at our School Calendar for the updated statuses of our school events.

I hope that you and your whanau are enjoying the distance learning opportunities that have been made available to you. Please keep checking in with your classroom teacher if you have any questions.

We look forward to tomorrow’s announcement and will update you with more information as it becomes available to us.

Kia pai, kia haumaru – Keep well and safe.

Helena Kirkham

(Acting Principal).
