Learning at Home

We have two options for homework as we understand that our students love to take part in many outside activities and enjoy the pleasure of spending time with their family, and the outdoors, which is important to us.

Agents of Positive Impact

  1.   Homework Challenges – optional

Classes will have a grid which outlines a variety of homework challenges your child can complete.  Once completed they can bring these to school or send in electronically.  The challenges are based around taking ownership of your own learning, develop independence in a skill and spending time making a positive impact for yourself and others.  An example of a teacher/class created gird is below.  Children can also make up their own.

      2.  Homework – Core Curriculum

To support our Literacy and Numeracy development teachers will provide students with focus for each week or term.  This will be put on the class Seesaw posts every Monday.  This gives families the opportunity to practice the literacy and numeracy skills that have been taught in class.

Below are range of digital sites that can support at home learning.
